We are looking for a data-driven SEO content writer and editor, who possesses a strong command of the English language, to help drive Search Engine traffic to Branditechture and sister sites, through writing well-optimized content for our targeted audience, as well as editing editorial content for SEO.
As an editor, you must follow Branditechture’s editorial guidelines. You must be focused on growth, and must be ready to work hand-in-glove with the Chief Editor in order to maintain editorial integrity.
We’re looking for someone who understands the competition, loves our brands and understands the value in not just writing great pieces, but optimizing them for search engines.

Your ability to write creative pieces, while keeping SEO front and center will be key, along with an ability to use SEO and Analytic tools to track, analyze and report the impact of your work.
This role is 100% remote-friendly, and we welcome applicants from anywhere in the world.
Work Hours
Monday – Thursday [8 AM – 6 PM]
Friday – [8 AM – 4 PM]
*You may be required to work outside work hours to meet deadlines.
Educational Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in any field
- You must have completed NYSC
Responsibilities
- Writing pieces that drive SEO traffic, and optimizing articles from the Branditechture Blog and sister sites.
- Use keyword research and SEO best practices to work on content optimization.
- Contribute to an SEO Calendar with topics, content ideas, and other strategic notes
- Monitor the performance of your articles using real-time analytics tools and make strategic SEO decisions based on that data and real-time Google Rankings.
- Performing ongoing keyword research using SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc., including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities.
- Research and analyze competitors’ backlinks strategies.
- Develop and implement link building strategies for Branditechture and sister sites.
What makes you qualify for this role?
- You know what Branditechture is.
- You have at least, six months of experience with writing blog articles using the WordPress editor. (Classic Editor, Featured Images, Tags, Post Categories, Hyperlinks)
- Know how to use the Yoast SEO plugin.(SEO & Readability
, Focus Keywords, Meta Description)
- Know how to do keyword research and write keyword-optimized articles.
- Know what dofollow and no-follow links mean.
- Recognize the importance of using descriptive images in articles.
