Möbelwerke Eisenberg VEB was a furniture manufacturing company in Eisenberg, Thuringia, Germany. It was founded in 1870 as a small workshop by Johann Christian Eckstein. The company grew rapidly and soon became one of the leading furniture manufacturers in Germany.
In 1946, the company was nationalized and became a Volkseigener Betrieb (VEB), or state-owned enterprise. During the German Democratic Republic (GDR) era, Möbelwerke Eisenberg VEB was one of the largest furniture manufacturers in the country. The company produced a wide range of furniture, including bedroom furniture, living room furniture, and kitchen furniture. Möbelwerke Eisenberg VEB also produced furniture for export.
