The Unión Cívica Radical Antipersonalista (UCRA) was an Argentine political party that broke away from the Unión Cívica Radical in 1924 . 3 In the 1928 elections, he presented the candidacy of Leopoldo Melo , who lost to Hipólito Yrigoyen , a UCR candidate. As of 1932, he joined the coalition called the Concordance that won the elections of 1931 and 1937 , in the latter consecrating one of its main figures, Roberto M. Ortiz , as President of the Nation.(1938-1942). The UCRA was part of a broad self-styled "anti-personalist" movement, which questioned the figure of Hipólito Yrigoyen (president from 1916-1922/1928-1930), whom they accused of being "personalist" and anti-democratic.
