Parti Ouvrier Internationaliste (POI) is a French far-left political party, created in 1936 after the exclusion of Trotskyist militants from the SFIO at the end of the Mulhouse congress in 1935. Led by Pierre Naville, the party became the French section of the Fourth International in 1938, before being excluded. The POI eventually merged with other Trotskyist groups in 1944 to form the International Communist Party (PCI).
The POI was reactivated in 2008 following the Workers' Party. It claims to be Trotskyist and advocates for socialist revolution. The POI is a member of the International Workers' and Peoples' Entente, a Trotskyist international organization.
The POI is a minority party in France. It received 0.01% of the vote in the 2022 presidential election. The POI is active in the trade union movement and participates in social and political demonstrations.
