Today, the Hertie Foundation is one of the largest ideologically independent and entrepreneurially independent foundations in Germany. The chairman of the board is Frank-Jürgen Weise , former chairman of the boardFederal Employment Agency and former head of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees .
