The Goddess of Justice (Thêmis) has its origin in Greek mythology. It is described as "of good counsel", and is the embodiment of the order, the law and protector of the oppressed. He used to sit next to the throne of Zeus to advise him 

She was the daughter of Uranus, God of Heaven, and Gaia, Goddess of Earth, so she is the daughter of spirit and matter, a titan.

Considered the embodiment of divine Order and Law, ratified by Custom and Law.

Known as the guardian of the oaths of men and the law, being invoked in the trials before the magistrates.

Thêmis means "divine law" rather than human ordinance, literally, "what is put in place", of the Greek verb tithemi (τίθημι), which means "to place".

Considered the goddess of Justice was represented as a deity of austere gaze, she did not have her eyes blindfolded initially, but always stood by the scale that symbolizes balance and the sword, as power.
