The company is founded under the name Coldex S.A., starting operations in a place located in Cercado de Lima. At first only the R11 model was made in light blue for "Singer" at a rate of 20 per day and with a total of 30 people. Coldex formalizes contract for the manufacture of refrigerators with four of the most important commercial companies in the country. The growth of the company allows it to settle in a plant whose land area is 30 times larger, by then the production was around 100 machines per day and the staff reached approximately 120 operators.
